An aspect of being a responsible land manager is controlling noxious and environmental weeds. Weeds impact on agricultural production and biodiversity values in the Neerim District Landcare Group area.

Two focus weeds in the NDLG area are Ragwort and Blackberry.

  • We can provide you with a free 3 year Blackberry Management Plan
  • We can assist you to source local contractors
  • We can point you in the direction of free chemical to control noxious weeds provided by the Baw Baw Shire Council
  • We can assist landholders who wish to borrow a 200 litre spray unit from The Baw Baw Shire Council
