Get involved in investigating farm dam biodiversity in West Gippsland using eDNA
|Every creature leaves traces of their DNA in
their surrounding aquatic or terrestrial environment,
through skin cells, hair, and other bodily secretions.
This is environmental DNA (eDNA).
|In spring 2018 and autumn 2019, Jindivick and Neerim District locals will be collecting eDNA water samples from local farm dams to screen for wildlife.|
The first farm dam eDNA sampling morning is 22nd November 2018, 9.30am – 1pm with lunch Meet at Neerim Sth wetlands at 9.30am sharp. Please RSVP.
