eDNA_image Every creature leaves traces of their DNA in
their surrounding aquatic or terrestrial environment,
through skin cells, hair, and other bodily secretions.
This is environmental DNA (eDNA).
In spring 2018 and autumn 2019, Jindivick and Neerim District locals will be collecting eDNA water samples from local farm dams to screen for wildlife.

 

The first farm dam eDNA sampling morning is 22nd November 2018, 9.30am – 1pm with lunch Meet at Neerim Sth wetlands at 9.30am sharp. Please RSVP.
