Get involved in investigating farm dam biodiversity in West Gippsland using DNA
|Every creature leaves traces of their DNA in
their surrounding aquatic or terrestrial environment,
through skin cells, hair, and other bodily secretions.
This is environmental DNA (eDNA).
|In spring 2018, Jindivick and Neerm District locals visited 16 dams, collecting 54 eDNA water samples to test for wildlife. Please join us for our autumn 2019 sampling event.|
The second farm dam eDNA sampling morning is Thursday 4th April 2019, 9.30am – 1pm with lunch Meet at Neerim Sth wetlands at 9.30am sharp. All welcome! Please RSVP by 28th March.
