The most serious health problem affecting wombats in Australia is mange, a problem caused by a small mite. Mange is widespread and causes a long, slow and painful death for wombats.
Come along and find out more about mange from Jenny Mattingley and what we can do to treat it. We will be learning to make some ‘burrow flaps', an innovative treatment tool, on the day. BBQ lunch will be provided
